Patrick Presch

Patrick Presch has worked as a Curator of Education in the Education and Outreach department of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin since 2014. He is currently part of the project management of Haus Bastian, the Centre for Cultural Education.

Previously, he led the multi-year project ABOUT THEMUSEUM for university students. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as a freelancer at the Museum Folkwang in Essen, in the Contemporary Art and Education departments.

Presch studied photography and communication design at the Folkwang University of the Arts and the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary. His work focuses on the conception and implementation of participatory educational projects, the development of interdisciplinary mediation approaches and formats as well as university education in the field of art and cultural mediation. He is currently a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin.
